Tutorial
Can anyone recommend a good tutorial for autohotkey to hep me pick up the basics? I’ve written a couple of basic scripts to reduce IE clicking/key strokes for some repetitive work processes, but they have been trial and error heavy.

You can always post a script for feedback. AHK has an introductory section in its own documentation. This forum has a tutorials board. There are also some popular AHK tutorial videos-- search forum for them. Would probably look for Joe Glines. Jack Dunning also has a sort of blog with instructional materials.

Here’s a link to the beginner tutorial from the AHK documentation. It also exists in the offline documentation where AHK is installed on your machine.
