Is there any library that renders plain text gui?

Regular win32 gui is quite limited in terms of removing controls and updating text controls with adapted width, word wrap, alignments, etc. I wonder if there's any library that renders textual ui with table / grid layout and alignments like in consoles. That way we can just put complex layouts in one big flexible text control
