Innosetup plus AHK instead of Pascal?

The software Innosetup works with sections, using Pascal-Code.

Somebody out there who has replaced the internal Pascal-Code with external Exes from AHK? Any experience? Good idea? bad idea?

Thanks for hints and advices.

i use NSIS as my installer and they use their own language, never tried Innosetup
