Thx for reply. This new microsoft version (announced today) is a functional OS, not just only apps. Makes me hope.
I understand there is another OS in clouds called "Azure" but i find little info. But a win32 is a win32, maybe it would work.

So far, to store all of your customer and personal info, contacts, and trade secrets on Windows servers won't be so cheap. $31 dollars per month, $372 dollars per year (every year). https://www.theverge.com/2021/7/15/22578396/microsoft-windows-365-pricing-skus-monthly-subscription-cost

Yes, thx for response. I believe that is for businesses. I had read (but didnt keep the link) where there is also a personal plan, same hybrid OS and apps. in cloud that is priced more competivly to office/microsoft 365 for a about $11 per month.

While doubtful one could actually run the AHK itself on a Windows365 hybrid, it would be wondeful if one could use an actual microsoft computer to make a script, convert to exe and then run that as a 3rd party program on Windows365 on my android tablet.

I wonder if people don't realize the potential extent of Microsoft's privacy invasion with Windows 365? It's a very different legal situation, when they own the computer that you are using and storing data on.

For instance:

1) Run through your personal contacts and e-mails at will (after all, it is their computer, not yours).
2) View and transfer any nude/private pictures (including running yourself and all your known associates with pictures through their databases).
3) Listen to any audio or conversations over apps like Skype, Line, WhatsApp, etc... (to include record, keep, or send your conversations to 3rd parties without your consent).
4) View resumes and diaries (your history is now their data).
5) Complete viewing and recording of your browsing habits on the Internet. Deleting cookies and browser history means nothing, as their computer to restore and keep.
6) View your credit card data and bank info at will (to include sending it off to 3rd parties)

This and more would now be all available to Microsoft to potentially do with as they wish. Other possible actions are:

1) Allowing unknown 3rd parties to store your data for their purposes (copies of your data could be stored in places you would never knowingly consent to).
2) Cutting you off from all of your data (while they keep it) or confiscating particular data at unexpected times because they felt you were in violation of something.
3) Specifically distort your view of the internet (showing only what they want you to see or silently blocking whatever they choose).
4) Target ads at you based on your personal info, etc...

There would be no alternative, because it is all stored and running on their computers. Deleting files or browsing with incognito would mean nothing.

While the initial launch will be aimed at businesses, it is widely expected to eventually be targeted towards consumers. Keep in mind that Windows 11 creates issues (arguably purposely) with old hardware. So Microsoft clearly has a path to attempt to present Windows 365 as a solution for old hardware to run its newer version of Windows.

Also, even in the business case, many of the points matter. We are talking about running a business on Microsoft servers, which means they can have access to all company data, customer contacts, financial files, business plans, etc... In addition to using that data for Microsoft ad and product targeting or "suggestions".

Give me a break. This for personal, not businessess. Most people just dont care. For that 1% of their data that is truly sensitive they take much better protection of that data only. We got to have a life.
