Not unusual for him to take a longer break - we had these questions before, several times over the years. And yet, he always returned.
I assume, after finally finishing AHV v2 beta.3 he took some time off, perhaps also to give people time to test and to give feedback.

It has become a bit funny, where after some time, there starts to be these "Where is Lexikos?" threads.

AHK is quite mature now and very usable, so there isn't any kind of emergency fixes needed. Likely he is giving time for people to play with AHK v2's latest Beta. Possibly his next move would be to make AHK v2 the official release, which would probably cause a bit of turmoil, unless some significant tweaking is needed for another Beta. Makes sense he would give the latest AHK v2 Beta a bit of time, be thinking about the next move, and be taking a break.

Some people also seem to forget there is also HotKeyIt, the developer who maintains the AHK_H fork, who is quite capable too. He is still active on the forum.

@HotKeyIt, would you like to continue the maintenance of v 1.1 on your own responsibility if lexikos would agree?

@just me
Of course I can not speak for HotKeyIt. Wouldn't it be better to use his AHK_H v 1.1 fork? He does have total control over that and doesn't need any permissions.
I see what you mean. But, these do seem to be more of advanced users concerns. Perhaps another way is for others, with the C++ skills, to submit fixes or suggestions on GitHub. If any of them are viable, whenever Lexikos returns, maybe he will approve of them.

As far as I remember, Lexikos was locked in the old forum. ;)
