Re: V2 Officially Released!
Soooo, will I get any bad surprises when updating from 1.1.33.10 (and also other versions)
I have the bad feeling that once I switch my PC, tablet and laptop to AHK 2.0, I will have to spend 1 weekend of fixing errors
P.S: No offense! I appreciate all the work!
Cheers!

Re: V2 Officially Released!
You will not have to do that because if you install v2, it will leave v1 in place, and it will run your old scripts using v1.
Re: V2 Officially Released!
Regarding going from v1 to v2, I did need to update the syntax to many of my scripts, and most were straightforward (apart from a Gosub I had to convert to a function, but even that wasn't tedious).
Something weird though, I just downloaded v2.0.2, and the executable insists it's still v2.0.0. Is that a mishap with the numbering version or was the .zip not updated correctly? My executable size is 1,259,008 bytes.

Re: V2 Officially Released!
I've had that happen before. In my case I downloaded moments after the release, but the link hadn't updated yet.Pingouin wrote: ↑02 Jan 2023, 08:32Regarding going from v1 to v2, I did need to update the syntax to many of my scripts, and most were straightforward (apart from a Gosub I had to convert to a function, but even that wasn't tedious).

Try re-downloading. On the download page, try a full page refresh by pressing Ctrl + F5.
Re: V2 Officially Released!
Thanks, now sorted! I had downloaded the correct file, but extracted the old one! Doh!
Re: V2 Officially Released!
The main download links do not include the version number, and do not change when there is a new release; they just redirect based on the content of version.txt. Sometimes this redirection is erroneously cached by CloudFlare or your browser. Refreshing the page probably won't help (because the URL on the page doesn't change) unless it somehow triggers a purge of the cached redirect.
One alternative is to get the exact link from the download index; another alternative is GitHub Releases.
