Numpad keys as hotkeys - docs confusing

Rather than re-explain the issue, please refer to this post for a description of the problem.
In a nutshell, the statement:

- located under the Numpad Keys documentation is somewhat ambiguous and the actual behavior (as born out by my test) doesn't appear to match the docs.Due to system behavior, the following keys separated by a slash are identified differently depending on whether NumLock is ON or OFF. If NumLock is OFF but Shift is pressed, the system temporarily releases Shift and acts as though NumLock is ON.
