Yeah, i think sourceforge, is a good idea. They give you some webspace, so the "archive" could be hosted or whatever,...

sourceforge, dropbox, github,... , and a last link at this server, alternative download or miror can be good.

Also we can have the download count because of hyperlink will be here, and compare with value of other server , just about stats, nevermind... and it is better to force to start download here by a link on other servers just for google ranking.
