I think the page title when viewing a topic should be in the format:
Topic title • AutoHotkey
instead of how it is now:
AutoHotkey • View topic - Topic title
Generally I can only see "AutoHotkey • " or "AutoHotkey • View topic". It is not very helpful when most of the tabs I have open apparently have the same title.

Re: Topic page title
Actually, the same should go for viewing a forum, though it's not as much of a problem.

Actually, it's already exactly like that.kidbit wrote:I also think that there should better be the link to the 1st post in a thread you are watching.

Re: Topic page title
The title format appears to have reverted. Now all I can see on every tab is "AHKScript (an AutoHotk".

Re: Topic page title
Yes, please re fix, whenever you have the time. Thanks.
Re: Topic page title
Pages in the User Control Panel or Moderator Control Panel have messed up titles. For example:
Compose messageUser Control Panel • • AHKScript (an AutoHotkey Forum)
View topicModerator Control Panel • • AHKScript (an AutoHotkey Forum)
Also, is it necessary to have "(an AutoHotkey Forum)" in the page title?

Re: Topic page title
When using Google I still get some results starting with "AHKScript (an AutoHotkey Forum) • View topic - ", also for topics created only less then a month ago. I can't find the exact string in the forum's page source, so is this Google doing some strange extrapolation of old topic titles or is there still some meta-tag stuck for Googlebot's user-agent?

Re: Topic page title
Same exact issue here:

This makes Google search VERY difficult for anyone, especially new users.

I also agree that "(an AutoHotkey Forum)" in the title is somewhat overkill, unless you're doing SEO with these sites?

Re: Topic page title
It appears that the Google Bot uses the prosilver theme, which still has the old title format.

Oh right right, nobody cares unless it's subsilver. BLECH. I hate these uglies.
We should switch to this gorgeous one!

Offtopic: While I don't particularly care for subsilver, I question your sense if you think that's gorgeous.

Re: Topic page title
On my Chrome it also seems to be the same way as AfterLemon mentioned.
I'm using subsilver2.

Re: Topic page title
This issue is still unresolved for the subsilver2 and artodia style and as a result also for Google search results.
(also, now that there's a 'Forum Issues' subforum, perhaps this thread should be moved there.)
