I don't quite see the problem.

I have written a new script today with EasyNewApps.
I have written a new ENA script today.
I have written a new script today.
I have written a script using EasyNewApps today.
I've written and ENA script today.

I'm not a native english speaker. Could you clarify? Are there any puns on it? :?:

Besides, the term "script" is a technical term.

I have written a new application today with EasyNewApps.

C_L, CL, CLex, Clex, C_Lex, AutoLex, Auto_Lex, Auto_L, Alex (wait, that's a name >.>), A_Lex, LexScript.... shit, why not 'Lexikos' :p

IMO lexikos would give a nice scripting language name too. Seriously. ;)

I like "lexikos". What better way to honor the person who has contributed so much!

BTW, how about "LexAHKos"?

Although I completely agree to 'Lexikos' as a name, the only reason I believe it wouldn't be a good idea is because it's almost like a slap in the face to Chris, who is the actual one who created this wonderful language. That's why I suggested C_Lex or CL; it honors both parties.

neoscript, keyobey, voidscript, hotkeyforce, octopus, bindscript, flyingscript, lightscript, windscript, fogscript, plasmascript, etherscript, etherflask, etherglass, etherglove, etherhand.

Ultimately, I was looking for a metaphor of something that is spreads fast and 'fits nicely', no matter the shape of the object it surrounds. A substance like the ether (esp. a burning ether) or something elusive is the closest I could get. I'm not a native speaker, so those names might not be the best phrased ones.

But I have to say I actually like the old name.

We could shortly call it "V2". It's a synonym for "Wunderwaffe" in German ("silver bullet" in English?). ;)

Perhaps to help in this process, we would need to get/reference AHK's characteristics:
AHK is:
Fun
Powerful
Dynamic
Flexible
and more...
What word best describes AHK?

@justme: V2, we aren't neonazi... Vergeltungswaffe, Godwin's law ! sorry to say that but outside germany it is cleary an history term. It is like WASP...
I like wasp as a bee, v2 as space conquest, but if we can discard all subversive words... same problem for C or lexikos (however all open source licence protect real name of lexikos, can't be use to promote or anything else)

No reason to feel sorry, it wasn't serious.

Edit: We only may need a new name, if we switch to v2. And when we do, why not simply 'AutoHotkey2'?
