Hope a moderator can be found, that was a helpful section. Not all the good scripts and ideas are in the main forum.

IMHO, making that forum unwritable(cannot post) instead of inaccessible would be better. (until a moderator found)

@wz520 Thought the same, made it Read Only, so at least it's readable for scripts, solutions, etc.

the problem is that we are responsible for the content which is unknown to any of us. There could be plans for a terror attack for all we know

Google Translate will do a decent job about the content. Not going to debate the question of nuance, slang, or grammar... But, you can test it against the other forums with different languages, and see the results. Though I would agree that a moderator that is reasonably fluent in the needed language would be understandably preferred.

Google translate won't work for german. I don't know about Chinese but I guess the results will be similar.

You responded without it being clear where on the scale that it is. Won't work, comes off as it being completely broken and unsuitable. Because we are talking about something built for the purpose, that even professional translators will consult and has done well in reviews. https://www.g2crowd.com/products/google-translate/reviews

But if you feel strongly about such an opinion, I won't debate this one. I'm just mentioning it as a way to get a rough idea of the content, though specifics and nuance is definitely best left to the fluent.

Well I might be biased but from what I have seen translating things to german is a total disaster.
The result is mostly undecipherible gibberish where even noone could understand what's being talked about.
german-> English might be a bit better. Regardless https://www.deepl.com/de/translator is doing a 100 times better - at least in my opinion.

just example ( english text above to german )
google translate :

Translation discussion/debate is getting a little off topic :b

Wow ahah Having the core verb at the end of the sentence is actually quite fitting to your Yoda avatar
Ok, I will hide the chinese forum for now, but I personally think we should still show a mention that we have a chinese forum. So as a compromise, I have made everything in the forum invisible except for the category itself as read-only. So We can see there's chinese in the list of forums, but it's empty. Just in case we might get a Chinese-english user asking about it, etc. I could do some moderation, but my Chinese reading is somewhat limited. euhg I'm remembering my mandarin school that I had to take every Saturday morning when I was a kid...

I guess this kind of defeats my point :/
