Hello - downloaded AHK a couple days ago and have spent several hours playing with it already. New to coding/scripting, but hopefully I won't be worthless at it for too long.
Thanks for creating AHK and a forum to discuss/troubleshoot, etc!

- Second anniversary. Could it be 'second AutoHotkey' soon also?
- The things I thought I would get done in 3 months when I first joined, seem more like they're going to take 3 years.
- Well, posts are slowing down now. 2420 threads featuring me. 492 threads started by me. 5449 posts by me.
- Although I'm now working with more programming languages, assembly, and the AHK source code itself.
- And the next year could be quite exciting, with some new developments re. me.
- Last year I had an essentially photographic memory of people and posts, but I've been here long enough now that everything's hazy.
- Some more thank yous, and it's been great to work with the same people as last year, to see some of the old-schoolers pop up on the forum occasionally, and to see more great users coming along.
- Users who have helped me multiple times with code issues: Flipeador, GeekDude, malcev, noname, tmplinshi.
- Special thanks to: Era, infogulch, Skrommel.
- And thanks to: [Shambles], amnesiac, Bentschi, burque505, Cerberus, Cuadrix, CyL0N, cyruz, DigiDon, DRocks, eqv, feiyue, Frosti, garry, gregster, Icey, jackdunning, Johana, john_c, kczx3, kunkel321, llinfeng, LogicDaemon, magicinmath, MannyKSoSo, mast4rwang, mlawler917, MusoCity, ndiaz, neokix, oif2003, quantum, r2997790, robodesign, Rohwedder, roysubs, SAbboushi, SL5, SOTE, SpeedMaster, swagfag, vvhitevvizard, Xx7.

Im a very long time user but new to the forums.I joined the forums mostly just to say thanks to lots of long time users(Lexicos for knowledge,SKAN for solutions,Chris for his heart and always putting the community first,Tic for his GDI library,Master Focus for lots of useful functions,Laszlo for his great machine code) who you almost can't do a ahk help google search to figure something out without finding a post where they show the way.You dont know me but I know your work and brilliance that have guided me for the last 10 years of scripting.
THANK YOU!
THANK YOU!

Hi,
My name is Chris, I'm from Poland,
Just registered to say Hi and to thank for great work on both UCR and vJoy. I'm using this soft to play older games, which do not support multiple controllers.
I have also a question, but in another Topic
Regards
Chris

Welcome to the AHK Forums Chris! You should thank evilC personally for that.

Beginner Tutorial is wonderful :-)
I just wanted to say what a wonderful TUTORIAL you have written - a joy to read!
- Accessible - written in plain English with a wide audience in mind, from novices to professionals.
- Immediate - you dive straight in, using short, clear and vivid examples to illustrate, rather than dry abstract specs.
- Concise - you cover lots of ground, well structured, and without clutter, indicating where & when to look for more detail.
- Pitfalls - you know what they are and give them exactly the right emphasis.
- Fun - your examples are playful and I enjoyed all the humour
The PROGRAM itself looks excellent and will be extremely useful.
Many thanks!
Andrew

Re: Guestbook: say hi, thank you, whatever!
Hi everyone, I've been using AHK for about 18 months, and I have to say, it has been super useful at work. I have been able to code out so many of the boring/mundane/time consuming aspects of my job and focus more on the difficult problem solving issues. It's been amazing so far and I can't wait to see what else I can code out!

Hi guys, my name is Vak and I have been using AHK for just a few months, I mainly work on an RDA project at my work in a financial institution and I am using an image search approach, I am eager to expand my knowledge and this is the first tool I have ever used in terms of programming so I am quite newbie with a hungry appetite for learning! I would like to thanks @tank for creating the RPA forum which is my biggest inspiration and sole reason for learning AHK!
