Hi Guys,
I have been looking for a way to restrict users from copying my data by dragging and dropping files. I can't restrict Drag and Drop completely on the system as it will hamper users daily activity. Hence I am looking forward for a want to intercept drag event and fetch details like path and path name from there.
If Path name is from my secured folder then it will show some warning message.
WIth all the Googling I could now find a solution to this. I Think below two urls are of use but it won't get me what I wanted.

Hopefully someone has some answer

I don't think I understand what you are trying to do... how is your folder secured?
And there are no other ways to copy files from that folder that not involve drag-and-drop? So which scenario are we talking about here?

This folder contains my documents. I have used a program name Padlock which restrict cut copy paste delete from this folder. However it doesnot restrict drag and drop.
Drag and drop if restricted will be restricted throughout, but i want to restrict it in this folder only.

If you are sharing the harddrive with other people you should encrypt the data you don't want them to know.
If you are not sharing it then can't you just restrict access to the computer ?
