Webcam capture with Microsoft Media Foundation

I dont have webcam therefore tested on virtual source.
You need to enter the name of videodevice.
If it will output sound, then the sound will also be recorded.
To take sound from another device, you need to uncomment and specify the audiodevice.
To display all recording devices in the clipboard, you need to uncomment, ShowAllDevicesNames := true.
To hide previewWindow - comment previewWindow := true.
To set preview window width - previewWindowWidth := 400, if comment it then preview window size will be the same as captured video.

Hi!

Webcam capture works good. On my PC the sound weather from sound card or mic is stuttering (interrupted)!
Edit: You can approximately recreate the sound I get with your DirectX11 DXGI recorder by setting video_fps := 10.

As the script is: Video o.k., Sound o.k., but out of sync.
I tried to evaluate how much and increased duration to 15 (s), but the script hangs up. (test.mp4 = 0Kb and I have to kill the process to exit)
Then I commented hardware_encoder := MFTEnumEx(…) (you know my issue if the string contains "NVIDIA"):
Again Sound is out of sync, but starts clear and approx. after 1.5 sec starts to be interrupted. (In my opinion as soon as cam starts to capture - what occurs with the same delay, visible at script start by cam led indicator too)

Commenting IMFAttributes_SetUINT32(pMFAttributes, MF_GUID(GUID, "MF_SINK_WRITER_DISABLE_THROTTLING"), true) doesn't seem to make any difference if hardware_encoder := MFTEnumEx(…) is commented. If not, it prevents the script to hang up, but the issues remain (out of sync and stuttering as soon as the capturing take place). [Edited]

The new script, I can't bring it to work.
With hardware_encoder := MFTEnumEx(…) the script hangs up. IMFSourceReader_ReadSample error: -2147024865
ErrorLevel: 0
Manual exit needed.
If I comment it, the script crashes and exits (with the same error).

May be You have 2 WebCams, or another software connected to Your WebCam?

I'm sorry, I'm obviously very bad to give you valuable feedback. Now I can't run neither previous script wich captured cam images correctly (truly with interrupting sound issue). Just don't know what's going on!
Edit: I tried to comment all possible you proposed and my "standard" comment for hardware_encoder, with no success.

Maybe somebody else could try and report! It's too bad that such a great code would be incomplete!

the script in first post works for me. i just uncomment ShowAll and then plug my video device name in, and comment out audio, and then the video records and the output file works

Thank you very much! Without specifying audiodevice, works for me too!
It's obviously sound capturing that makes problem, even previous script works if audiodevice is not assigned. (of course without sound). Nevertheless it's valuable info, I hope!
Edit: Now I tried previous code specifying sound card for audio device and it worked comparably to previous reports with sound interruptions, however only up to a duration of 10 sec. If duration was 15 or more sec. the script hanged up. The new script doesn't work with sound card neither.

For me the new script does not show any difference. If I don't specify audiodevice Cam capturing is correct. If I specify it I get IMFSourceReader_SetCurrentMediaType error: -1072875852
ErrorLevel: 0
