Missing posts

Mmmh, I'm missing some of my posts I'm sure I've posted here. Or is it just my browser?

Yes, they are missing. It's probably due to mods removing the thread, as it is the current spot for fights, or due to some of them being lost in backup and restore operations.

Depends on when you posted them. If it was sometime before or after that last forum maintenance, it's GoDaddy's fault.

All missed posts were posted on 2013-10-26 in this thread, so it shouldn't be GoDaddy's fault. I've found one of them quoted by kidbit yesterday morning (european time) here, looked for the others and had to notice that they had gone. Now the quoted one has vanished too, and I'm seeing a new addition to the "Terms of use" allowing Mods and Admins to move posts to Offtopic.

If the posts weren't removed by the NSA, someone with sufficient rights must have done it. So I'm still waiting for an explanation or apology. There's a slight distinction between moving and removing.

it is probably my fault I moved a bunch of post but was later asked to delete them and I may have unintentionall got a post of yours from that thread.. it was done days ago I am sorry

I want to also say that there 2 splits from that post due to an error in how I did it. And the one I deleted by request is the only one I have ever deleter(except spam) if I had any means to restore it I would... again very sorry

Well, I didn't sucpect it had been done intentionally. Never mind!

I think threads or posts should never be deleted, as long as they aren't spam or insulting anyone.
