I live in Canton, Ohio and I am looking for some IRL friends to get together and share ideas and just hang out in general.

I've only ever gotten together with one other AHK forum member and I learned a ton! He's moved since then, but if anyone is ever in the Fargo, ND area drop me a line.

I just miss having friends...I do not get out much and I am running out of friends. Most of the people I used to hang out with have moved on and it would be nice to have someone around who knows what I am talking about when I start talking about code. I do not drink or do any social activities other than hang out in IRC on occasion. I would be happy to find someone who likes to hang out on Skype.

I find skype to be pretty awful. Google hangouts has treated me much better.

Edit: oh, and I hear the way to make friends with fellow antisocial people is to to got a bar with a friend and look around for someone else who doesn't look like they want to be there

I've been attending Python meetups for about a year now. Over that year I've brought up AutoHotKey and was surprised how many either used it or knew of it. I'm considering starting a meetup here in Dallas, TX. http://www.meetup.com/ has quite a few people people on it in my area.

joedf - The first time I read your response, I took it as "oh, and I hear the way to make friends with fellow antisocial people is to to got a bar with a friend and look around for someone else who doesn't look like they want to be there OR GOOGLE HANGOUTS"

Edit: Now I'm thinking that you did mean it that way.

You will not spot me like this in a bar. I might even look like I perfectly belong there although I'm terribly misplaced. :D
