Visual Studio as AHK editor

Post by ZB36 » 21 Mar 2023, 04:22

I would like to use the AutoHotKey (Plus Plus) extention in Visual Studio Code for editing my own AHK scripts but various installation methods all fail. I've tried via VSC Extension manager, Install from the VS market place, download the extention and then install. Mothing mworks. Is there a compatibility issue or am I overlooking something?

There is no compatibility issue. Have you been able to install any other extensions? What happens specifically when you say it fails? Does it give an error message or something?

Thanks for your prompt reply and apologies for my very late reaction. The problem was my confusion between Microsoft download presentation of Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code. I initially got the wrong one :x
