AutoHotKey has a /CP command line option to specify the code page of the script. This is great, I just found it, and that solved an issue I had been seeing because of having my default text editor save in UTF-8 without BOM.
However, ahk2exe _doesn't_ have a /CP command line option, so how can I compile such scripts? (short of adding the BOM).
Seems like an inconsistency that should be resolved.
ahk2exe needs /CP option
Re: ahk2exe needs /CP option
If you or anyone else would like to take a crack at implementing it, you can fork the Ahk2Exe repo on GitHub. Ahk2Exe is an AutoHotkey script.
Re: ahk2exe needs /CP option
Hmm interesting, I think ill make a pull request for that.
Of course, fincs has been a little busy recently so he has not yet merged all my patches yet, but if I have time I'll see to adding this in, including the "unsuccessful compilation" issue that's there right now.
