Compiler 1.1.33.9 & 10 cause the exe to crash upon system startup

Post by c5urfer » 27 Jan 2022, 20:26

Hi,

My compiled exe is copied to a users c:\temp and started when the user logs into windows.
The exe crashes almost immediately and disappears from the System Tray.
The exe was compiled using either the last 2 versions.
The exe can be manually loaded there after with no issues.

If I use the compiler version 1.1.33.2 - there are no crashes. Exe start and runs with no issues.

Cheers
L

You will need to supply more information for this problem, such as the script that is compiled. Does the crash generate a dump? Perhaps the compiled script needs to have a 'Sleep' inserted at the beginning to delay its start.
My scripts:-
XRef - Produces Cross Reference lists for scripts
ReClip - A Text Reformatting and Clip Management utility
ScriptGuard - Protects Compiled Scripts from Decompilation
I also maintain Ahk2Exe
