I have a Windows 10 PC, running perfectly fine with Ryzen 5 and 8GB of RAM. And then, I installed AutoHotKey to repeatedly type some text over and over again. As soon as I started running the script, this is what I noticed:
Every 30 seconds or so, my computer would lag. None of the hover effects on anything would display, the mouse would delay about a second behind, and anything I type will not load. This will last for about 10 or so seconds, after which everything I typed will quickly show up, and everything will go back to normal. This will happen whenever my computer is on, even if the AHK script is closed and terminated.
I even tried uninstalling AHK, and the issue is still there. My computer has been running completely fine for 2 years, until I started using AHK. It got to a point where the lag would keep getting worse and worse, and I could barely use my computer, so I wiped it and reinstalled it fresh. It was fine for 2 months, until I decided that the old problem might not have been with AHK, so I reinstalled it on my clean OS. The same thing happened, and my computer would lag again. Even now, it is currently lagging. Another thing I noticed was that whenever I restart my computer, the lag stops for about 5 minutes, and then it slowly starts up again, getting worse and worse. I really do not want to wipe my computer again, so if anyone can help, I could greatly appreciate it. Thank You!
