They'll make another one for sure: Ali Barbie and the Forty Variations!

Here I sit, dreaming of Valleys, Violins, Cats, and ... AHK!

Someone, somehow, snuck this song into S02E03 of Star Trek: Picard which aired earlier this year. I thought it was fantastic. Here is the clip from the episode.

...and here is the music video. The album was released in 1995. The music video and the extended remix were released much later.

I really liked it. Unfortunately, the US broadcasters would need some patience regarding their ratings, something they aren't known for :lolno:

I've never hear of them before but this is fantastic stuff! The solo video is good but I like the sound of the official video a little bit more...

You need to play it at least twice. Once to catch the whole thing and then again to just to listen. They label themselves as instrumental progressive rock but this track is more like progressive jazz.

More than ever before, we are surrounded by death. COVID-19 (6.3 million deaths so far), mass shootings (more than 200 in the United States so far this year), and death from everyday things like old age, cancer, accidents, etc.

In 1970, George Harrison released All Things Must Pass which was his third studio album and his first solo work after the break-up of the Beatles. The title song deals with the transient nature of human existence. Although the lyrics are more fatalistic than comforting, the song allows the listener to understand, accept, and to grieve. It can be quite cathartic.

My favorite version of the song is from Paul McCartney which was played at The Concert for George which was held in London on November 29, 2002 as a memorial to George Harrison on the first anniversary of his death.

In 2020, they created a stereo version of the studio album. The result is excellent.

All things must pass, surely, but will again return as retro- not always remixed to stereo, unfortunately:
