Thanks for disabling the slowdown code. This has made a big improvement to my forum browsing experience.
My scripts:-
XRef - Produces Cross Reference lists for scripts
ReClip - A Text Reformatting and Clip Management utility
ScriptGuard - Protects Compiled Scripts from Decompilation
I also maintain Ahk2Exe

Hi, does anybody else still notice very slow and incomplete forum responses now and then like me?
I'm still experiencing this issues. Several times per hour forum request seem to 'time out' silently after many seconds and the browser doesn't refresh its contents. Repeating the query immediately after the 'timeout' retrieves the wanted result instantly.

@SKAN are you still seeing error 526?
I found this to fix, but not sure if needed since things seem to be working now... https://community.cloudflare.com/t/community-tip-fixing-error-526-invalid-ssl-certificates/44273

Missing Former Scripts

Post by POSAM-Ron » 05 Jan 2022, 12:40

* Can anyone say why it is so difficult or impossible to find scripts that have been written * Are they lost ?* Is there a complete repository of previously written scripts ?* There were so many scripts contributed to AHK but they are nowhere to be found *
Thanks for your insight

What do you mean they are nowhere to be found? The forum is filled with scripts written by users, especially the "Scripts and Functions" sub-forum. Search there using the forum search tool or with Google. To create a separate repository of them would be basically duplicating the forum, and they would lose the context that the forum posts provide.

Yes, @boiler is right. If not, you could try looking at this archive topic: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3216
Maybe the scripts you're looking for are there. If not, you could try requesting it there and other users or I may help you find it.

You did it  - as a new user you might have to wait a bit until a post gets approved, though.

Or do you mean a new topic? Go to 'Ask For Help' (or the 'Gaming' subforum, or whatever fits) and push the 'New Topic' button. You might still have to wait a bit.

I wrote this to joedf in a PM earlier today. He requested that I post it here, so here goes (all times in this post are U.S. Central time zone).

When I sent the PM to joedf at 11:29am, I noted that the last email that I received from the forum was two days ago...on 9-Aug at 1:06pm. I normally get about 50 emails daily, so something was obviously broken.

The lack of emails continued until 5:20pm today, at which time I received 42 emails, every one of them with the 5:20pm time stamp. I have since received two more emails, one at 5:47pm, the other at 6:09pm (it is 6:11pm as I write this). So, it would seem that the problem has been fixed. Regards, Joe
Thanks for sharing, Actually I am new here and exploring the discussions.

trying to "unread" this thread: Server Upgrades 7-13-2021 updates 8-16-2021 viewtopic.php?f=3&t=92576&view=unread#unread
redirects to some other random thread: viewtopic.php?f=76&t=93791
there were also issues with duplicated posts again(though mods have already deleted them)
my thread which i started was also went in spam idk what is the problem
There are several options...
a) has been rejected and deleted for a specific reason (ie posted as duplicate)
b) has been rejected with advice to change some specific part of the posting (ie if code tags are missing/vague subject line, etc...)
c) has been rejected bc its was empty!
d) has been rejected/deleted by mistake (shit happens)
e) whatever malfunction of the forum (?)
f) will be moved to another forum section (so looks like it "disappeared", ie from Ask for Help > Gaming) for a reason.

if a posting has been qualified as spam, normally its author gets banned immediately.

@shattyfer - Can you describe the content of the thread you started and show what message you received when it was disapproved?

Considering this thread's post title and how - more than a year later - it's mostly off-topic... isn't it time to retire it gracefully?
