There are multiple forums issues at the moment. I have created this thread to help track this.
Please feel free to post here, and I will update this post accordingly.

I wrote this to joedf in a PM earlier today. He requested that I post it here, so here goes (all times in this post are U.S. Central time zone).

When I sent the PM to joedf at 11:29am, I noted that the last email that I received from the forum was two days ago...on 9-Aug at 1:06pm. I normally get about 50 emails daily, so something was obviously broken.

The lack of emails continued until 5:20pm today, at which time I received 42 emails, every one of them with the 5:20pm time stamp. I have since received two more emails, one at 5:47pm, the other at 6:09pm (it is 6:11pm as I write this). So, it would seem that the problem has been fixed. Regards, Joe

The last 5 post approvals went through for me without problems - that's clearly an improvement compared to earlier today.

Edit: Still working...

So it turns out, according to tank, that the firewall was acting up.

Only a few recent items show up in my searches (these items are not necessarily posted by the user mentioned in the search term).

SEARCH TERMS
lexikos: 13 matches, earliest 11 Aug 2021
jeeswg: 2 matches, earliest 12 Aug 2021
mikeyww: 21 matches, earliest 09 Aug 2021
SKAN: 14 matches, earliest 09 Aug 2021, 02:57
Chunjee: 3 matches, earliest 10 Aug 2021, 18:53

Yesterday I had a few matches going as far back as 2019, but not today. Seems August 9 might be a date to look at . . .

trying to "unread" this thread: Server Upgrades 7-13-2021 updates 8-16-2021 https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=92576&view=unread#unread
redirects to some other random thread: https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=93791
there were also issues with duplicated posts again(though mods have already deleted them)

@swagfag Interesting, I could reproduce this too. I think it's just some of the unread links, mainly those during the attempted DB upgrade. I used the "Marks Forums/Topics Read" link to clear these, and I expect future unread links to be okay. I've tested other unread links from today/yesterday, and they worked fine. I think we were unfortunate that unexpected provider issues happened during the db upgrade, so somethings may be out of sync... like the large users online number or forum searches being weird.

Search appears to still be hammered, unless it's just me.

Click submit only once.
Wait for a fews seconds.
Open a new browser tab to the forum and check if it has been been submitted.
It will be.
Close the previous tab.

Edit: That is how I made this post.

Yes, again a higher-than-usual number of topic/post duplicates and sometimes slow posting (edits still work fast) - things which are surely related.
But post approvals still work... Edit2: spoken too soon :problem:

Edit: Forum search is also broken for me since last week (doesn't show older posts than mid-July ?) - at least this (AHK-specific Google) search still works: https://www.autohotkey.com/search

Posting is extremely slow. Sometimes it errors out to cloudflare but the post still goes through.
