Mystery: ClassNN: Label

Post by Ryder » 19 Aug 2022, 13:15

Hey All,

I have a label in my code... ClassNN:

Now, Not exactly sure where I got it... Must have picked it up somewhere when I was borrowing code.

So far as I can see, it has no actual function... nothing calls it. However... my code has problems if it's not there.

Is there something special about this label?

Obviously I'm keeping it, but I'm really curious as to what it's doing.

Thank you!

Nothing special about it. We could make a lot of guesses, but faster to narrow down the issue when the script is posted.

At over 550 lines, that might not be practical :)

Is there some sort of edited/truncated version of the script that would be useful, or would that just complicate matters?

You might want to focus on
my code has problems if it's not there
because the reader has no idea what is there or what problems the code has. If you imagine that you are the naive reader gazing at this Web page on the forum and wondering what it means, then perhaps you can get the idea!

wouldn't a ctrl + F and search that label solve the problem, just wondering ?/

nothing may be jumping to it statically that u could ctrl-f for, something may be jumping to it at runtime. but its pointless to speculate without seeing code as mikeyww already pointed out
