script doesn't work on startup

Post by hihip2004 » 05 Oct 2022, 09:23

hi guys,

I have a Spelling correction AHK which is just a bunch of ::tehse::these - I created a scheduled task to load it when I log on... and it DOES load - but the spelling corrections don't actually work.

When I right click the script and click "reload" - it's fine... it's just annoying that I have to keep reloading the script after I've loaded my computer to make it work.

Any suggestions?

thanks

Welcome to this AutoHotkey forum!

1. How do you know that the script is loaded?
2. What is the script?
3. What happens when you run the script (and type something)?
4. What should happen instead (include a specific example)?

Hi, I know the script is loaded because it shows in the task bar. I've actually managed to fix it now by placing 1 minute delay on the task scheduler after I log in... figured it might be trying to load too quickly whilst the desktop itself is loading and it seems to have worked so touch wood.

Touching wood does nothing. You have to knock on it. :)
