windows builtin notepad is the default editor now and I want to change it to something else.
I found somewhere that I can mess around with regedit and edit the value for my liking
but problem is the regedit path they referred does not exist
I guess this is because my autohotkey is portable(zip compressed) version
in this case, what do I do to get it done?
change the default editor for "Edit this script"
Re: change the default editor for "Edit this script"
You can try Example #2 from here: https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Edit.htm#ExDefaultEditor

If the above linked info didn't work in helping to resolve this (as it didn't for me), here's a link to the solution that did work for me.
