Remapping external number pad without remapping laptop?
Could I remap a external number pad without remapping the keys on my laptop?

Usually, Windows - and also AHK's hotkey/remap mechanism - won't distinguish between separate keyboards.
So you need smth on a deeper system level - like the third-party Interception driver. evilC has wrapped it for AHK v1 (Edit: on his github, there is also a v2 version available)
