Hello,
I'm trying to install AHK ver. 2.2, however each time I try this I get the following error message:
(0x80092009) Cannot find the requested object.
See attachment for full error.
Both manual installation and using Intune has thusfar failed.
I've tried the solution provided in:
https://www.reddit.com/r/AutoHotkey/comments/11v1w5p/error_installing_latest_ahk/
However this does not seem to work for me.
The strange thing is that when I try to install this software in Windows Sandbox, there are no issues.
Could maybe a theoretical security policy of some sort block this on the tenant I'm using?
I understand it's difficult to check this for me, as I'm trying to install this for one of our clients, but I'm hoping someone has an idea.

....._UIA.exe files that the installer is trying to sign no longer exist(because ur AV deleted them; or couldnt be copied into that location in the first place, for the same reasons)
in this reddit post there are at least 4 different solutions(accounting for the ahkforum thread thats also linked), so what have u tried exactly that didnt work?

Hello,
I've removed the root certificates for AHK, which as mentioned in the post were duplicated.
This however did not work.
Whenever I try to install this using one of our test VM's that's connected to the domain it could make sense that some setting in their Defender would remove the required file that you mentioned.
We are trying to push the file using Endpoint Manager, so maybe that is also causing this issue.
I have tried to manually install it, but it gives me the error I posted above.
It does seem to install these files in C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey\UX
But when I try to run AutoHotkeyUX.exe it says that it's missing the script file:
C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey\UX\AutoHotkeyUX.ahk
The shortcut that it should make in the Start Menu is not present either.
