Hi, you all!

I tried registering several times using different email addresses (gmx.de, web.de) - my last trial using gmail.com ended up successfully.... :)

But.... can you please "rename" this user to skydive241 after deleting my registration trial for this name...?

Thanks and greetings from germany

"Povilas" doesn't exist, but I can change the username "RegistrationDisabled" to "Povilas".
Yes? :+1:

I'm using the google translation.
I'm new to the forum so I may be posting the wrong way.

I'm sorry, I confirmed that my account was already valid.

Just registered and activated. But to Login the first time my e-mail was in the username box. I had to overwrite it with my chosen username.
No problem for me, but I think if someone doesn't pay attention his e-mail adress will be shown as the username!
(This is also a test if I can post on the forum).

I think this may be caused the web browser's autocomplete function misidentifying the info for the login?

joedf You are right, the cause is the autocomplete login by the browser. But the origin could be the AHK register page.

My browser is Firefox 77.0.1.
I checked in my Firefox Logins and Passwords. I have now 2 entries for autohotkey.com, one with my e-mail adress as username and one with 'slechtwere' username. The second must have been made when I overwrited the username, as mentioned in my first post.

Not sure if I found out what went wrong, but I reproduced what I did by registering and I detected an odd behavior.
Click Register - the legal text - I agree - fill in a chosen username, e-mail adress, 2x a password -
And then you have language set on British English. Clicked the arrow (still no problem) and then clicked the language 'Français' (which I did to see if the Timezone would change, to be sure I was in the right Timezone. Because Belgium is the same as France).

At that moment it jumps back to the page with the legal text, and Firefox offers to remember the login. Here my e-mail adress was put as my username. Probably I accepted it at first without noticing.

But I did not complete my registration yet, so 'I agree to the terms' and get back to the registration page, where I have to fill in the passwords again. But now I kept the language British English and completed with the Captcha and Submit.

If I want to login now at autohotkey.com I have to choose between two usernames (e-mail adress or the chosen username). Luckily I found out to delete an invalid login in my FF Profiles folder.

I see... I believe this to be a bug in phpbb.
This should be fixed with an upgrade to v3.3, but a time for that would have to be planned/scheduled.

I tried to register today but didn't have much luck with the email confirmation. I don't feel like exposing my main email address in the open. Please contact me at ########@####mail.com and I'll send over the email address I have registered with. Thanks a lot!
