Run Script without saving / run with F9

Post by GamerG1rl » 08 Feb 2022, 23:26

Hi there,
for a long time I've used Version 2.6.2 of Adventure.
Now I updated to Version 3.0.4 but I miss one function.

In the newer Version I need to save a script before it can run and it won't run with pressing F9.
Both was possible in the older Version that I used.
Do I have some settings wrong ? :wtf:
When I go to Run and Run with associated Application the script starts like normal..

Hello!

When you start a new file in Adventure, by default it is set as a simple text file. You have to change the syntax to AutoHotkey by going to Syntax > AutoHotkey for the F9 functionality (run without save) to work properly. Saving the file with the ".ahk" extension also ensures this configuration is applied. The default syntax highlighting scheme for new documents can be changed in the Syntax Type dialog: Syntax > More Lexers.

Tip: having no text selected in the document, pressing Ctrl + F9 will prompt a message box asking for the document type to be changed to AutoHotkey. This behavior may be changed in a future version.
