Before posting, I had read the last few pages of the locked Suggestions on documentation improvements to try and figure out how I can contribute. My impression was that the suggested process is:
1) Post in this new forum (which I did)
2) Wait for positive confirmation from others (I'm very ignorant about classes and methods, so as I stated,

the staff agreed with the proposal...

He stated I would prefer it if lexikos always shuts down direct PRs. Are you knowledgeable about the process the staff/lexikos prefer/advocate when you're making the suggestion to submit a PR for doc changes?
4) Any links on how to submit a PR?

The easiest way to submit a PR is to use the pen icon in the toolbar of the docs. This opens current page on GitHub. From there, just follow the instructions. If things don't look right, we'll let you know.

For something like this, I’d say just submit a PR. If you’re looking at changing wording or how a paragraph is constructed, then maybe start here.
