I have developed several scripts that my friends have installed on their computers.
I would like to be able to update the script (.exe file) from time to time and have the script automatically check for the update on GitHub.
I am aware of the function "UrlDownloadToFile". But can I somehow make a version check?
If anyone knows of a GitHub tutorial for ".exe" updates please let me know.

I'm really interested in this too. Hope someone can tell us more about it
As variant, you could put on GitHub the text file with current version info. Your script will read that file, if the version doesn't match, it will download the new exe file.
