GeekDude's Volume Script - Set per-application volume levels

30 Jul 2017, 19:02

Volume.ahk

I used this script back when I used Windows 7 as a main system (instead of as a virtual one) to manage my volume level.

Features:
  • Allows you to adjust the volume while keeping it muted.
  • Modifier keys to adjust in jumps of 10, or all the way to 100%/0% (Alt and Ctrl respectively)
  • Modifier key to adjust the volume of individual applications (Windows key)

New version! Updated to work better with multiprocess applications like Chrome and Firefox. It also calculates window position better now for display of the custom slider during per-application volume adjustment. See the download link in the OP for the new code and revision history.

Is this every UWP app, or just some of them? Do you have a specific example of an application that would be good to test with? I don't use an UWP apps other than the built in calculator.
