Is it possible to recover files after "FileRemoveDir,1" is used?

Depending on the circumstances there is the potential to recover them using a tool such as Recuva.

No new directory created, and I think the system has been restarted at least once... I'm tunneling in to the machine in question and therefore not physically at it (or at least trying to again... I think something is hanging on it or it's experiencing BSOD (Win7). I'm waiting for someone to access it to give me an update on its status).
