Is it possible to remotely trigger an AHK script? I have a script on my website that I would like to have it make a call to my PC to run an AHK script.
I was thinking if AutoHotKey had some sort of web service, I could make a web call to my computers IP address to call the web service running in my AHK script to perform an action.

One way to do it is to use an API like PushBullet https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4842

Another option: Create a bot via the Telegram Bot API.
Then run a script on your computer that only reacts to messages from your own chat ID (or multiple known IDs, if you want to include your grandparents' phones, for example).
You can even create buttons or custom keyboards for your bot... or send images to/from your computer, or whatever.

Hi
simple, slow and reliable:
a) your webpage sends Email to Postbox (Pop), driven by Webbutton-click or whatever
b) ahk fetches that Pop-Email (eg. with curl.exe)
