Click and drag to scroll a ListView, possible?

09 Aug 2023, 01:47

Hello!

I have a ListView that I want to be able to scroll by clicking and dragging it. It will be used on a touch screen, I want the user to scroll with their fingers just like on a smartphone. Like click in the middle of the ListView and drag their finger. Is it possible to do?

I know you mimic the scroll wheel dragging with two fingers, but I would like to scroll with one, is it possible?

Hi,
Not having a touch device here won't be of much help, did find this through Google.
If that doesn't help, there's Simulating Touch Input Using Touch Injection API; as the more recent user comments haven't been positive, MS have updated it since. DllCall will be required. :)

I also have no touch device running Windows. Can't you scroll with one finger when touching the scroll bars?

Are you taking about a listview created using ahk?
I have a touch screen and it seems like you can already scroll with one finger.
