edit field windows context menu. how to make it work?

hello ive tried to find an anwser to this a few times but i never ran into a solution so i am guesing i am being very stupid here and am missing something very obvious

thing is when i select some text in an edit field and right click i get the windows context menu but nothing there works as one would expect so my question how do i make that work
