Hi All,
The GameDVR game recording feature built into Windows 10, requires explorer.exe to be running, as it uses that for the trigger hotkey. I'm figuring that it's possible to use the windows message system to send a message to trigger GameDVR recording, without explorer.exe running (i.e. when running a game/arcade frontend). Hence then using AHK to pickup the hotkey, send the message and start and stop recording.
Anybody ever done anything with this?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Trigger GameDVR Recording - Without explorer.exe running
So GameDVR feature is built into windows 10. It allows recording of game play, with a keyboard shortcut. It doesn't however work unless explorer.exe is running.
I want to get around this, so I can trigger screen recording on my arcade cab, where I load a front end, rather than explorer.exe
