Where is built-in script recorder

08 Sep 2017, 11:01

Hi
I have installed the autohotkey version 1.1.26.01 (ANSI 32 bit) and I can not find the built-in script recorder. Is there no such item in this version? If so, could you explain to me how I can use this option?
Thanks

There is no such built-in feature -period-. You can take a look at Pulover's Macro Creator

In what older version of autohotkey is this feature? I know the autohotkey script recorder well, and the pulovers macro creator seems to me to be something else.

I believe the last time that was included was in version 1.0.48 from about 8 years ago. This will not fully work with the current version of AHK, and support for any scripts made with it will be limited as that version is missing quite a bit of the recent features and optimizations.

The previously mentioned Pulover's Macro Creator is much more feature rich and up to date.
