Δ, β, and α converting to "delta", "beta" and "alpha"

I'm trying to convert Δ, β, and α to "delta", "beta" and "alpha", respectively.

The problem I'm having is that in SciTE for AHK:
Δ becomes "?"
α becomes "a"

is there a way to read these greek symbols into AHK with SciTE?
