Enable and disable W10 LAN

I had some scripts that would allow me to toggle the status of the LAN and the connection to the internet on and off. The first time I ran the them I would have to supply an admin password but thereafter I could run it on my non admin account without having to enter admin passwords every time. It doesn't work on W10. I have managed to enable the network once but I can't disable it. Can anyone help me out. W10 is driving me nuts. Thanks.
