WatchFolder updated for v2

Hey all, I'm trying to update the WatchFolder script (link) for AHK v2 and having some difficulty. There's some problem with the format of the returned object that I can't figure out.

Has anybody already done the work to update this script to v2 or knows of a similar v2-compatible one (that watches files\folders for changes and runs functions when found)?

I appreciate any pointers. Thanks!
