Help computer wont open Autohotkey_2.0.4_setup

When I click download and try to open AutoHotkey_2.0.4_setup a message pops up saying "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item" I've tried turning of anti-virus, I've tried to download different version, I've tried to change the permissions in properties and it will not work.

I'm not sure, but if you do not have rights to install software, you might see this message.

I actually have identical problem and I do have all neccessary permissions to install all possible software on my computer. I tried to investigate it and this is what I have done so far:
1) I tried to instal version 1 and it did work (but obviously I prefer version 2 since version 1 is deprecated)
2) I disabled all windows firewall settings and it did not help.

@jdar Please do let me know if you managed to resolved the issue.

If anyone had simillar issue or have an idea how to resolve it thne please do let me know, maybe it is a bug

@dawidlukasz both versions of AutoHotkey are also unofficially available through Microsoft Store, which shouldn't have any permission issues.

However, I also see you are trying to run the setup file from a temporary folder, perhaps the file was was deleted for some reason? Try downloading it to the Desktop or Downloads folder instead and verify that the file exists.
