No need to apologize. OP solicited comments on his approach (quoted below), which is the same reason I added my opinion earlier. You initial comment was directly in response to this request, and the reply to your comment is what led to a more general discussion about the role of AI in its current state.

That's all I have for now, I just wanted to get this post out to see if it's worth trudging forward with this app or if my idea is really dumb.
