[Script] CloudAHK Blocks - The drag and drop script creator

11 Jun 2020, 09:56

Hello everyone!

Image

This is CloudAHK Blocks, the drag and drop editor for building and testing AutoHotkey scripts. It's available online at http://cloudahk.com/ , or downloadable as a portable AHK script at https://cloudahk.com/CloudAHK.zip

The zip file contains the .ahk and all the HTML/CSS/JS required to run the script, but also contains an exe that can be extracted and used on its own without any other dependencies.

Let me know what you think!

Is there a way to change the bracket style? Or even the Capitalization Style of command/built-in functions?

There aren't any settings for that currently, however it would be a possibility for future releases. Shouldn't be too difficult to implement.

Thanks, @GeekDude, I've been looking forward to a Blockly/Scratch-type solution for AHK for quite some time now.
Awesome indeed!

New landing page built for the site, and a handful of new blocks have been added since I first posted this here. Additionally, the layout of the editor itself has been tweaked a little. Utility functions like load/save have been moved to a menu bar at the top of the page/window instead of having their own always-visible buttons taking up space.

Extremely impressive! Though outside of computer science types, don't know about starting off by showing fibonacci. Maybe just "hello world".

Thanks for the praise! The Fibonacci demo code is from my own testing, as it has most of the components that I need to test during ongoing development. If/when this makes it to a full release it will start with a blank slate (just the "when started" block) and any pre-written code will be available from an expandable palette.
