If anyone can tell why this very old script, although is working just fine otherwise, cannot paste anything in any window or text input or anywhere at all.

In case you are not aware, Windows 10 and 11 have built-in clipboard history functionality. Once you enable it, then use Win+V to display your history and paste from it.

I'm aware. Thanks.
Of the various other autohotkey clipboard managers too.

The one you asked about apparently does not paste/send anything itself.
Once you select the one you want you can paste it as normal.

Are you saying the selected clipboard history item does not become the contents of the current clipboard for you to paste?

I thought that it pastes by selecting an entry in its flyout menu, either by mouse or arrows and pressing enter.
My bad. Sorry.

Can it tho ?

Sure. Just add a Send, ^v after the clipboard is assigned the desired contents.
